Each year, the all-volunteer Adopt-A-Family board works to brighten the holidays for Greene County families in need through the generosity of community members and businesses. AAF will provide a Holiday Food Program to Greene County families again this holiday season.
In 2020 more than 155 families received holiday food. 2021 has been and continues to be a big challenge for families. Adopt-A Family remains committed to making sure food needs are being met.
In the past, AAF has been generously supported through donations. The board is very thankful for the support. The biggest need is funds so the board can serve as many families as possible. Monetary donations can be sent to: Adopt-A-Family, P.O. Box 364, Jefferson, IA 50129
Donations can also be made directly to the AAF account at area Peoples Bank locations.
Adopt-A-Family greatly appreciates the generosity the community has provided in the past and looks forward to working together again this year to meet the essential needs for friends and neighbors.
